Macmillan Tea Party
This afternoon the children in Year 5 and 6 held a tea party to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The hall was transformed into a cafe, complete with bunting, and the children served cakes, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and juice to parents, grandparents, governors, staff and brothers & sisters. It was such a success that no-one wanted to go home and the children were thrilled to raise over £270 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Well done to them all and many thanks to all the parents who baked cakes and to Mrs Jefferson who came in to help.
